Heads Up Learning Curve with 3D system surgical system

The learning curve of digital display system assist is very short and did not increase surgical time thereafter.

– The learning curve is longer for cataract (topical anesthesia) : 20 procedures . than for vitreo-retinal surgery : 12 procedures.

– No complication during surgeries was noticed in this study.

– The changeover from the standard microscope to the heads up system is quite intuitive and allows the surgeon to rapidly enjoy the benefits this system provides.
