The Palais Gallien ophthalmology practice was founded in 1989. Your ophthalmology practice in Bordeaux is a multidisciplinary center where all ophthalmological pathologies are treated: cataract, glaucoma, refractive surgery and surgery of the eyelids and orbit.
The Centre Rétine Gallien – Bordeaux was created in 1991 and opened in 2015. It explores and treats diseases of the retina, macula and vitreous (AMD, retinal detachment, macular surgery, diabetic retinopathy, vascular occlusions, intravitreal haemorrhage, etc.), as well as all eye tumours, in particular choroidal melanoma.

A patient pathway has been specially designed for fast, optimal care in each of our practices. You will first be received by vision professionals (orthoptists and optometrists), then examined by the ophthalmologist-retinologist, who will summarize all the examinations carried out, and give you full explanations of your pathology and proposed treatment.
